Improving picture?

Today starts off with a little bit of mist around our area.  This mist will soon burn away, however, as the morning warms up.

The wind today will start off deriving from the NE-NNE. Although the winds will be on the light side this wind direction does bring a chill with it.  As the day passes the wind direction will move slowly clockwise and will end the day deriving from the SE.  The average wind speed today will be around 6-7mph.

The radar images are showing that a band of rain is to the south of us at the moment around the Gloucester area. This will gradually edge its way towards us and we can expect some showers around lunchtime and during the during the afternoon.  The chance of rain today is around 70%.

It will be a slightly milder day today with a top temperature of around 10-11c.  Overnight with some cloud cover the minimum temperature will be around 5c.

Looking forward to the weekend we can certainly expect to see less risk of rain and, therefore, the opportunity to get out and about is an improving all of the time.

Some, cloud, bright spells and the occasional shower.  A little milder than of late.
