Today sees the day start off quite cloudy and with very little breeze. The day will, however, brighten up a little as it passes bringing us some sunny spells.
Our top temperature today will be around 14c (yesterday’s top temperature was 12.8c at 12:58 hours) although this will be tempered a little by the breeze which will be bringing cool air to our area from the NW. This will reduce the “feel” of the air by around 2c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 5c.
The cloud cover will fragment and even possibly dissipate (particularly during the afternoon) and this will bring us some brighter spells. It will remain dry all day with the risk of rain being below 10%.
The wind will be blowing predominantly from the NW and the average speed will be around 5mph.
Finally, I would like to take this opportunity to pass my condolences to the family and friends of the Brownhills child that lost his life in a road traffic incident yesterday.
