Remaining dry?

Today will be another good day for getting those jobs done outside, going for a walk or even getting your bike out.  The good headline news is that it will be dry all day in our area.

There is so low pressure systems to the north of our area and these will being some rain from around Manchester upwards.  It is these low pressure systems that we need to monitor in the run up to the Easter holidays.  Currently Good Friday looks as if it will be dry but there is a higher risk of rain for Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  There is, however, plenty of time to go before then and things can change.

Today will be a mostly cloudy day with some brighter spells after lunchtime.  Our top temperature will around 13-14c and overnight the minimum temperature will be 4-5c.

The wind will be blowing a little more persistently today and the average wind speed will be around 8mph.  The wind will be blowing from a W-WSW direction.
