Water your hanging baskets.

I hope you all enjoyed yesterday’s sunshine.  If you are on half term holiday or working outside today then you will some more bright spells mixed in with some occasional fragmented cloud.  The chance of any rain today is only around 7% so remember to keep watering your hanging baskets as the wind will and sunshine will be drying them out.

Our top temperature today will be around 13c and the overnight low will be around 4c.  There will be some clear spells tonight so our local astronomers will be able to make a some observations.

The jet stream is helping bringing the breeze predominantly from the NW.  This breeze will be blowing at an average speed of around 7mph with gusts up to around 15mph.

Continuing the look ahead to the weekend.  Friday and Saturday look to be cloudy but dry.  Sunday looks to have some showers later in the day and Monday looks to have early showers but then clearing to leave a cloudy day.  Remember, however, the picture can soon change with a slight movement in the jet stream position.
