Today sees the day start of with a clear sky and the temperature around 2c (at 06:30 hours). The good news is that the air pressure is high and is still rising. For all of you teachers and school children on holiday we are going to be seeing “wall to wall” bright spells. The chance of any rain today is around 4%.
There is a slight negative to the proceedings and that is the slight breeze will be bringing some cool air from the E to start off the day. The wind direction will, however, soon move to bring us a breeze from the warmer SE. The average wind speed will be around 4mph.
It will be a generally bright day and so you may want to take your sunglasses out with you today but this does not mean the paving stones will be splitting with the heat. Our top temperature will be around 14c and overnight, following another clear night’s sky, the minimum will be around 2c. (Remember to protect any delicate plants that are at ground level).
