Holiday Saturday Weather.

After yesterday’s glorious weather interlude today will not reach the same dizzy heights of “wall to wall” sunshine.  it will, however, be a dry day with some pleasant brighter spells.  The chance of any rain is only around 8%.

The day will start off cool.  The minimum overnight temperature was 1.7c at 06:04 hours and even at 08:00 hours it is still less than 4c.  The cloud cover will restrict the temperature  little today and we can expect our maximum today to be around 13c.  Overnight the low will be around 3c.

The wind will be light but will be bringing cool air in from the NE-E.  You may have noticed when you were in the shade yesterday that the breeze was “refreshing”.  Today’s breeze will be coming from the same direction. The average wind speed will be around 5mph this morning increasing to around 8-10 mph this afternoon.

Looking ahead the GFS Ensemble Average Temperature model is showing that we are in for a couple of cooler days before returning to top temperatures of around 15c.
