Back to work Tuesday weather.

With many of us heading back to work today the good news is that we will not be missing out on too much glorious weather wise.

The day will start off cloudy but mild.  At 06:00 hours the air temperature was already above 9c. There is some early mist but this will soon dissipate during the morning.

The radar images are showing plenty of rain cloud systems in our area between 08:00 hours and 14:00 hours.  Whilst many of these systems will simply blow by (like yesterday) there is still a 70% risk of some rain in our area today. One of the the largest risk is around 09:00-09:30 this morning.

Mixed in with the clouds cover will also be a few brighter spells and these will help lift our top temperature up to around 14c.  overnight the low will be around 8c.

The wind will start off from the N-NW with a gentle breeze of 2-4mph.  As the day passes the direction from which the wind derives will move clockwise to become more southerly (SW-SE arc).  The average wind speed this afternoon will be around 6mph.
