Take your hat.

Today will see that typical April weather of sunshine and showers.  It will, however, be a little cooler than the last few days due to the wind deriving from the ENE.   This wind direction will reduce the feel of the top temperature by at least 1c.

The radar images are currently (approximately 08:30 hours) showing a band of light rain around the Worcester area and this will make its way towards our patch during the morning.  We can expect to see some showers any time from late morning through to mid evening.  The showers are likely to be short-lived.  In between the showers we will see some brighter spells as the sun breaks through the cloud.

Our top temperature today will be around 13c and overnight the low will be around 7c.

The wind will be blowing at an average speed of around 5mph this morning increasing to around 10mph this afternoon.

The weather should not detract from stepping out but you will need to take your hat and coat just in case.
