With most of the schools re-opening today the weather will certainly be kind to all the pupils, parents and staff making the journey in today. There is, however, slightly less certainty about the journey home.
This morning will start off generally cloudy but mild with very little breeze. This theme will continue throughout the day and we will even see some brighter spells. Our top temperature today will be around 16c and overnight the minimum will be around 8c. (Last night’s minimum temperature was 7.7c at 02:47 hours).
There is a small system of rain moving up from the south during the afternoon and this will bring a 40% of rain in our areas between the hours of 15:00 hours and 19:00 hours. Hopefully, our area will stay dry.
The wind will be deriving from the NE this morning moving clockwise to derive from the E by the afternoon and evening. The average wind speed will be around 6mph.
