We will all rise this morning to a very grey and overcast sky. We should, however, not let first impressions influence us because it is very mild outside with the temperature at 06:30 hours already near 12c.
The cloud cover will remain with us for much of the day although we will see the occasional brighter spell. The brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to 16-17c. Overnight the temperature will remain mild with the low around 9c.
With the cloud cover comes a 35% risk of some light rain. Rain would be most likely when the day is beginning to cool from around 16:00 hours until early evening. The most likely outcome, however, is that we will remain dry.
The rainfall this month has been around 60% of what we would normally expect, however, we did have heavy rainfall in previous months so it is a bit “swings and roundabouts” so far this year.
The wind will be blowing at an average speed during the day of 6mph. The wind will be mostly deriving from a SE-SW arc.
