The radar images are clearly showing more showers in our area today. Currently (08:30 hours) the radar images are showing that there is a band of rain lying across Wales and this system will bring us more showers around 09:30-10:00 hours. (90% risk certainty).
We can expect further odd localised showers, similar to yesterday, to fall at times throughout the day (similar to yesterday). It was interesting, if that is the correct phrase, yesterday to see just how localised the rain fall was.
In between the rain we will see some bright spells as the clouds either thin or fragment. This, however, will only lift our top temperature up to around 12c. Overnight the low will be around 8c.
The wind will be lighter than yesterday with an average speed of around 8-9mph and gusts up to 30mph. Yesterday we had just speeds reach around 45mph. The wind today will be deriving from the WSW-W.
We have a couple more days of rain to endure before the weather brightens up on Wednesday.
Sunshine and more showers.
