Driving between Lichfield and Burton, along the A38, yesterday really highlighted just how localised the rain showers were. In most area there were little signs of any rain whilst other area had clearly received some heavy rainfall.
Today, will see a much more generalised weather pattern.
The day will start off with variable amounts of cloud that will allow the sun to shine through at times. During the afternoon the cloud bank will thicken and by tea time we will have 90 to 100% cloud cover. There is a 25% chance of some rain showers today. The greatest risk being around lunchtime. As the evening passes the cloud cover will then dissipate leaving a clear night from around midnight onwards.
Our top temperature will be around 19c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 11c. Last night’s low was 10.5c at 05:12 hours).
The wind will be deriving from an easterly direction for much of the day. The average wind speed will be around 3mph.
