It is a bit of a dull start to the day and the wind, although light, will be bringing with it cool winds from a N-NE direction. This will make it a cool journey if you are walking or cycling to work or school today.
It has been a mild night although the air pressure has reduced a little further and, for the first time in a long time, there are a few rain clouds appearing on the radar images this morning. The rain cloud formations are, however, very small but they do bring around a 45% chance of some rain / drizzle in our area today. The most likely period for rain is first thing this morning during the morning rush hour and up to around 10:30 hours and later in the afternoon when the day begins to cool.
This afternoon will see some brighter spells as the clouds fragment a little and this condition will help lift the top temperature up to around 19c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 11c.
The wind, as previously stated, will be deriving from the N-NE and the average speed will be around 4-5mph.
Summary. A dull start brightening later.
