A year on.

Today will be a bit of a cooler day with temperatures very similar to those we encountered a year ago.

The day will start off cloudy and it will remain that way for the majority of the day.  There is a chance of the odd brighter spell but the predominant colour for the sky today is grey.

The cloud cover will bring a 50% risk of rain to our area today but any rain will be light or merely drizzle. The radar images are showing plenty of small rain cloud systems across the majority of England and Wales and, therefore, if you plan to travel then I would suggest that you need to prepare to come across some rain.

Our top temperature will be around 18c and overnight the low will be around 10c.  These temperatures are still mild for this time of year.

The air pressure is rising slowly and this, in turn, is showing that a less complex air pressure system sits above us.  The simpler the air pressure system the lower the breeze and today’s wind speed will only be around 3-4mph.  The wind will be driving from the NE.

Summary.  Generally cloudy but mild.  A chance of some light rain.
