Scarecrow Festival Weather.

After yesterday’s day of cloud and drizzle today is going to be one of complete contrast.

High air pressure is sitting above our area and (at the time of observation) is continuing to rise.  This clearly indicates some fine and settled weather is with us for at least the next couple of days.

There will be some thin cloud from time to time but this will not prevent us enjoying some bright and sunny spells  – we can expect at least 7 hours of sunshine.  The cloud cover will range from 5% and 60%.  The risk of rain, however, is less than 5%. Our top temperature today will be around 18c and overnight the low will be around 9c.  Last night / early this morning the overnight low was 9c at 06:41 hours.

The wind will be blowing from a northerly arc between the NNW and the NE. The average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Overall today will be a fine and dry day and may be worth taking a trip to the Hints Scarecrow Festival  .
