Wind from the North

It will be a little damp under foot when we the rush hour begins this morning.  Already this morning some light rain has fallen in our area.

The radar images are also showing that we can expect further light rain during the morning. (The risk level of rain is around 85%).  These images are supported by the fact the air pressure is falling slowly

The images show that there will be some breaks in the rain during the day but we can also expect to see further periods of  light rain showers.  These showers could get heavier at the end of the day.  The further E you travel in the UK the heavier you will find the rainfall this morning.

The temperature will lift very little from that we encounter during the early morning.  Our top temperature will be around 12c.  With further rain clouds bringing heavier rain during the night the minimum temperature will remain reasonably mild at around 9-10c.

The wind will be bringing col air from in the N-NE for the majority of the day and it times it could be quite gusty.  Our average wind speed will be around 8mph with gusts of around 15mph.

Summary. Light rain showers and a cool northerly breeze.
