A low pressure system is currency formed out to the W/SW of the UK at the moment and this will bring some generalised precipitation to our area later tonight. The rain will reach our patch around 20:00 hours and will continue to bring us showers throughout the early hours of Saturday.
Prior to the mid evening we will see some brighter and more pleasant spells through a partly cloudy sky. Our top temperature will also reach a very mild 18c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 15c. (You may recall me speaking about the jet stream bringing in some warmer air to the area in a post earlier this week).
There is a chance of some isolated showers during the day but these will be localised and short lived. The risk of rain during the daylight hours is around 30%.
The breeze will be deriving from the S-SSW today. The average wind speed will be around 6mph with gusts of around 15mph.
