A changing picture?

Firstly, please accept my apologies for the slightly later than normal posting.  Some difficulties in the night have meant a slightly later start for me than normal today.

The first thing that is immediately noticeable about today’s weather is the reduced wind speed.  The average wind speed today will be around 5mph although some gusts will reach 15-20mph.  The wind will be deriving from the SW.

There will be some odd breaks in the cloud to allow some bright spells but that same cloud will also bring of some risk of showers this morning.  The radar images are showing rain cloud pushing through the Newtown and Welshpool area of Wales this morning at these clouds will bring a 60% chance of some light showers around 10:00 hours onwards.

It will be a mild day with a top temperature of around 14c and an overnight low of 11-12c.

As we make our way to work tomorrow we can expect to see further rain as a large band of rain cloud will have worked its way across the UK.

Observations made 08:13 hours Hammerwich, Staffordshire.

Air pressure :  1014 mb, Temperature : 11c, Wind: 4mph SW, Relative humidity : 85%, Rain this month :  62 mm, Rain this year : 548mm

Lichfield weather, Burntwood weather, Hammerwich weather, Bloxwich weather, Brownhills weather, Pelsall weather and WS7 weather.
