Don’t put off until tomorrow

If you have some jobs to do outside then heeding the guidance of the old saying “don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today” would be a wise move.

Whilst there is a low risk of some light rain showers today the risk is only around 35%.  The radar images are clearly showing that the rain clouds are not very dense and thus carry little rain.

During the day we will see the odd brighter spell as the clouds thin from time to time and these brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 15c.  This will be helped a little by warmer air deriving from the SW-SSW.

The average wind speed today will be around 8mph and gusts could reach up to 16-20 mph. There will be no real damage caused at these lower wind speed levels.

As the day passes a low pressure system pushes towards our area from the N.  We are already seeing some impact of this system as the air pressure is already falling slowly.

By the early morning this system will bring a threat of rain to our rain to our area that will last until early afternoon.
