North / South Divide

There is a very clear divide at the moment in the UK air pressure wise.  The north of the UK is in under a system of low pressure whilst the majority of England and Wales is sitting under a system of high pressure.

Whilst the air pressure is currently falling slowly it is still high in our area and this means that we will be seeing a day with some bright spells and only a low risk (8-10%) of any rain.

The prominence of mixed air pressure activity in the UK will, however, mean it will be another breezy day.  The average wind speed will be around 8-10mph with gusts speeds possibly doubling that figure.

It will be a mild day with our top temperature reaching around 15-16c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 11c.

Rain will return to our area in about 48 hours time so I can tell you more about that tomorrow.
