St Andrew’s Day Weather

The air pressure continues to rise and the charts show that we will remain under a system of high pressure for the next 36-48 hours.  This means that we are in for a period of more settled and generally weather.

Today we will see some bright spells and the winds will be light.  This will make it a pleasant day for a walk in the park or a visit to the German Market.  The chance of rain today is around 5-10%

Our top temperature will be around 9c but this will not be effected too much by any wind chill as the breeze will be light at around 5mph.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 6c.

The wind will start the day deriving from the WSW-W but as the day passes the derivation will move a little further clockwise to end the day deriving from the NW.

Looking ahead to the rest of the week the current images and charts would suggest a cloudy week but not with too much rain.
