Another windy day.

It is another blustery day across the UK with wind speeds in our area averaging around 11mph with gusts reaching 25-30mph.  The wind speed will reduce a little as the day goes by but not significantly.  The wind will be deriving from the W-WSW.

The day starts off very mild with a temperature of 11c but as the day passes the clouds will reduce as the cloud dissipate.  The air temperature by mid afternoon will be around 5c.  Overnight the air temperature will be around 2c.  The wind chill will reduce the “feel” of the air by around 3c so the afternoon and evening will feel quite cool.

This morning the radar images are showing that some light rain clouds will be passing through our are but we will not see any sustained rainfall.  The threat of rain will be beyond our area by noon.
