This morning sees the air pressure rising and the there is a general light mist lying around our area. The relative humidity is just under 90% and so if you taking the dog a walk this morning you are likely to find the air a little damp.
It is, however, a mild morning with the air temperature at approximately 08:30 hours just under 5c. We are likely to the thermometer continue to rise and by mid afternoon our maximum reading will be around 7-8c. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 4.5c.
Our area will be generally covered in medium level cloud throughout the day. Through the night low level cloud will bring rain to our area and we are likely to be making our journey to work tomorrow in the rain.
The wind will start off deriving from the N-NNE but as the day passes we will see a gradual movement of the derivation towards the SE. This will also correspond with a slight reduction in the air pressure to around 1012mb.
Next week look generally mild with the top temperature around 8c on most days.
