Will it rain today?

We wake up this morning after some overnight/early morning rain and some medium to high level cloud.

The good news is that the radar and satellite images are showing that there are very few rain clouds around this morning and it looks as if it will remain generally dry until late afternoon and early evening. The risk of rain today (generally this evening) is around 70%.

Our top temperature today will be around 8c and overnight, due to a good covering of cloud, the minimum temperature will remain positive at around 4c.

The wind will be deriving from a  S-WSW arc and, at times, it could become a little breezy.  This will be particularly noticeable early this evening as the air pressure reduces and the risk of rain increases.  The average wind speed today will be around 8 mph.

Tomorrow looks as if it will follow a similar pattern to today with a dry start and rain moving in during the afternoon.

Summary.  A cloudy day but generally dry during daylight hours.  A risk of rain after dark.
