After yesterday’s wet and windy start today’s weather provides a much more gentle start to the day. As I write this blog at approximately 06:30 hours the air pressure is rising rapidly and this bodes well for the day.
Today will be a dry day with only a low (7%) risk of any rain. There will be some cloud but this will fragment to allow some brighter spells to shine through. These brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 10-11c by mid afternoon.
During the night the air pressure will reduce to around 1013mb when a low pressure system from the north moves into our area. This system will help provide some rain but elevated temperatures tomorrow morning.
Our overnight temperature low tonight will be around 4c. Last night’s minimum temperature was 2.6c at 04:43 hours.
The wind today will be deriving from a SW-W arc for the majority of the day. The average wind speed will be around 5mph.
