Increased cloud?

At the time of observation (around 08:25 hours) the sun was shining brightly and the air pressure was stable.  Some fifteen minutes later the sun was still shining brightly but the air pressure had just began to reduce slowly.  This reduction in air pressure will set the scene for the day.

This morning will be generally bright and we will see some clear sky.  As the day passes, however, we are likely to see more cloud cover and this cover will, eventually, become complete (100%).

In the northern parts of the UK rain is already falling and we will see this system moving further south as the day passes.  It is unlikely that we will see any rain during daylight hours but we are 80% certain of seeing some rainfall between late evening and our journey to work in the morning.

Our top temperature today will be around 13c and overnight the low will be around 6c.  The wind will be deriving from a WSW-SW arc for the majority of the day.  The average wind speed will be around 6mph.

Summary.  A bright morning turning cloudier as the day passes.  A high risk of rain late evening / overnight.
