Washing Monday?

At the time of observation (approximately 06:19 hours) the air pressure was  reducing rapidly and 3.4mm of rain had fallen on our area.  It is not a morning for putting out the washing.

A look at the radar images show that further rain will fall on our area until around lunchtime.  There are a few breaks in the rain cloud along the way and some of the rain will be light.  We will, however, come across the odd heavier shower from time to time.  The rain will clear from the west.

During the afternoon we will see the rain clear and the we may even see some brighter spells.  The top temperature today will be around 12c.  Later in the afternoon / evening the radar images are showing a further risk of rain although, at the moment, this risk looks as if it may just skirt our area.  I would estimate this later risk as being around 55%.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 6-7c.

The wind will be deriving from the a SW-WSW arc and the average speed will be around 7mph.

Summary. Rain during the morning turning dry before a further (but lower) risk of rain later.
