A cloudy start to the day.

2162015Today sees the air pressure reducing slightly as the day passes (minimum around 1009mb) and this reduction in pressure will increase the risk of some rain showers to around 65%.  The predominance of rain will be to the East and South of us today but we may catch the odd shower.

The radar images are showing that some rain cloud systems will pass through our area this morning (see the rain radar image showing the rain cloud positions at around 10:00 hours) but these systems will be relatively small and may simply blow through.

Our top temperature today will be around 14c and overnight the minimum temperature will be around 9c.

The wind will be deriving from a WSW to WNW arc for much of the day.  This will bring a general cloud cover with some fragmentation to allow for some brighter spells too.  The average wind speed will be around 6-8mph.

Summary. A partly cloudy day.  The risk of some rain showers too (65% risk).
