On the up.

The air pressure at 06:30 hours was rising slowly and a look at the pressure charts show that this trend will continue throughout the day until we reach  around 1020mb (from 1017mb).

This is a good indication that we are set for a dry day and the radar images confirm that thought. There is less than a 10% chance of rain today.  This means that bedding plants and hanging baskets will need some water tonight.

We will see some brighter spells during the day and this will help lift the UV index up to 7. The bad news is that the pollen count will also be high.  There will , however, be a fair amount of cloud around and this, along with he WNW-NW breeze, will help restrict our top temperature to around 19-20c.   Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 8c.

The wind will be light today due to the high pressure system.  The average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Summary. A partly cloudy day but remaining dry.
