The jet stream is running across the UK from the Atlantic to the North Sea and this will bring with it more cloud to our area. The cloud will be predominantly medium height. The cloud will fragment a little from time to time but, in general, the clearer spells will not be until later in the day.
The cloud cover will, however, bring us a fairly constant air temperature. Our top temperature will be around 17c and the overnight low will be around 12c. The humidity will remain high for much of the day (around 80% until late afternoon).
The cloud does bring with it the risk of some isolated localised rain showers as the radar images are heavily populated with small rain cloud systems. The majority of these rain clouds will simply blow by, however, there is a 60% risk of rain in our area. The period at most risk is during the middle lunch time part of the day from around 11:00 hours.
The wind will be generally light with an average speed of around 4mph. The wind will be deriving from a SW-WNW arc.
Summary : Another cloudy and humid day. A risk of localised rain showers around the middle of the day.
