A cloudy interlude

The surface air pressure has risen to 1019mb from yesterday’s start position of 1016.8mb.  Although this is only a slight change it does signify that another dry day is in store.

The radar images (plus current images from webcams throughout a 30 mile radius) are showing that it will be a generally cloudy day with just the odd brighter spells.  The cloud level will generally be medium to high.  Despite the cloud the risk of rain today is only around 8%.

Our top temperature will be around 20c and the overnight low will remain in double figures due to the cloud “blanket”.  The overnight low will be around 12c.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 8.7c at 04:19 hours.

The wind will be generally light with the an average speed of around 4-5mph.  The wind will be deriving from a W-NW arc.

This cloudy interlude will be with us for another couple of days before low pressure moves into our area around Thursday.  This low pressure system will introduce some rain.
