As I write this post the surface air pressure is falling rapidly and we have all ready received 0.6mm of rain.
The radar images are showing that further “waves” of light to moderate rain clouds are heading our way from the Hereford area and the main body of these “waves” will reach us at around 08:00 hours and 10:00 hours (some light rain / drizzle is possible between/after these times). The risk of further rain today is around 90%.
The rain risk of rain will reduce early this afternoon and the cloud bed may even fragment a little to allow for the odd brighter spell to break through. Late this evening (around 00:00 hours) further rain showers will enter our area.
With the increased cloud cover it will be a mild day with a top temperature of around 14c and an overnight low of around 9-10c. (Last night’s minimum temperature was 11.9c).
The wind will be deriving from the SSW-SW for the majority of the day and the average wind speed will be around 6-7mph.
Summary : Showers during the morning getting brighter for a while until further rain showers late tonight / in the early hours of tomorrow.
