This morning sees a veil of mist lying across our area but, fear not, because this will burn away as the sun rises and we will be left with another very pleasant day. The barometer, at approximately 08:40 hours, continued to show a gradual rise in air pressure, however, it will reach its peak today at around 1035mb.
With the air pressure at a high level the risk of any precipitation today is very low at less than 5%.
There will be some high level cloud around today and, in particular, later this evening. The cloud will help keep the overnight temperature higher than the last two nights. last night’s minimum temperature was 5.9c.
Like yesterday we will also see more bright and sunny spells today and our top temperature will be around 16c. The overnight low will be hovering around the double digits at approximately 9c.
Also like yesterday the wind will be light with the average speed around 5mph. The wind will be deriving from the ENE-E for the majority of the day.
