Today sees another mild and occasionally bright day. The cloud cover will be mostly high during the daylight hours but there is only a low risk of rain (around 8%) today.  If you want to put out some washing then today will be a good day to do so.

During the day the surface air pressure will remain high at around 1020mb but overnight we will see a low pressure system work across the UK and it will bring with it rain to our area from the West. The current tracking models are suggesting that the risk of rain will be with us from around 06:00 hours until mid afternoon.
