The rain radar images are clearly showing rain carrying clouds are moving across the UK from the W and will reach our area by around 09:00 hours. There is a 95% risk of our area receiving some rainfall by noon. The rain will be moderately heavy and we can expect between 3-6mm of rain to fall in our area. After lunchtime the risk of rain reduces to around 25%.
It will be a cloudy morning but it will brighten up a little during the afternoon. Despite the brighter spells our top temperature will only be around 12c.
