It is a mild start to the day with the air temperature at 06:35 hours already into double figures (11.5c).  The air temperature will, however, only get a degree or so warmer today. Our top temperature today will be around 13c and the overnight low will be around 10c.

The radar images are clearly showing that rain clouds are heading our way and from 07:30 hours until early afternoon the risk of receiving some rain is around 85%.  (The red sky this morning also indicates that there is some moisture in the air coming from the West). During the afternoon the risk of rain diminishes dramatically to around 10%.  It will not be all cloud, however, as we are also likely to see some brighter spells during the day too.

The wind will be deriving from the ESE-SE first thing this morning before moving towards the WSW this afternoon.  The average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Summary : A mild day with the risk of some showers particularly earlier in the morning.
