Air pressure will reduce

The pressure charts are showing that a low pressure system, that is currently centred to the NNW of the UK, will be pushing slightly southwards during the today and this will see our air pressure reduce from 1020mb to around 1013mb by early evening.  This low pressure system is 85% likely to bring some rain to our area early to mid evening.  The rain will be arriving from a westerly direction.

Before then we will have a morning with some broken cloud and brighter spells.  These brighter spells will help lift our top temperature up to around 12-13c this morning and around 14c when the cloud cover increases this afternoon.

The wind today will, once again, be bringing in mild air from the SSW.  The wind will be lighter than of late this morning with an average wind speed of around 4-5mph.  We will see the wind speed increase this afternoon when the air pressure begins to change rapidly and the clouds increase to an average speed of around 10-14mph. Gusts speeds could be around 30mph.
