Despite the tight positioning of the isobars which will create another breezy day today will see a predominantly dry day.
At the time of observation the radar images are showing a few small clusters of rain cloud moving across the UK from the W but, in the main, the clouds miss our area. There is, however, a 30% risk of some brief showers up until mid morning.
As the day passes we will see some brighter and dry periods and it would be a good time this afternoon to get those last minute Christmas errands done.
Our top temperature today will only be around 8c but with the wind chill this will feel more like 5c. Overnight the cloud cover will increase and eventually bring rain from the W to our area tomorrow. There will be little change in the air temperature overnight from the 8c during the daytime.
The wind will be SW for most of the daylight hours moving slightly anticlockwise later tonight to end the day deriving from the SSW-S. The average wind speed today will be around 7mph with gusts speeds around 20-22mph.
