Time to step out if you don’t mind tousled hair.

It is a very mild and breezy start to the day and that will really be the theme of the day.  The day will remain with, pretty much, 100% cloud cover throughout the day although the top temperature will reach around 13c.  If you don’t mind getting your hair a little tousled then today is a good day for getting out and about.

There is a 55% risk of the odd shower here and there but any rain did fall would be short-lived and localised.

The wind will be breezy for much of the daylight hours with an average speed of around 12mph.  Gust speeds will be in the mid 30s.  This may make it difficult riding your bike in places.  The wind will be deriving from a SW to W arc.

Overnight will become a lot cooler than last night ((low 11.5c last night at 01:38 hours) at around 4c.

Over the next few days the jet stream will continue a movement to the south of the UK.  This means that we are likely to see some cooler weather with some freezing overnight temperatures.  We will discuss this more as the week passes.
