WS7Weather report for Hammerwich, Lichfield, Burntwood, Brownhills, Bloxwich, Walsall and Pelsall areas. 27/2/2016

At the time of my observations (08:11 hours) the air pressure was rising rapidly which indicates we are set for another generally dry day. The risk of any rain / wintry shower today is around 10%.

Outside the air temperature was only 0.6c at observations and the overnight low reached 0.2c about an hour earlier. With the wind chill it will feel like -2c if you step outside first thing this morning. The good news is that the air temperature will increase to around 6-7c under a partly cloudy sky. Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 0c to -1c.

We will see some odd bright spells today but the key feature will be the chilling ENE breeze. Although only averaging around 5mph it will feel very cool at times ( around 3c less than the thermometer reading at 5mph).

summary : A generally dry, cool but partly cloudy day. A small risk of a wintry shower (10%).

observations made 08:11 hours, Hammerwich, Staffordshire.
Air temperature: 0.6c; Relative humidity : 84%; wind speed : 1mph ENE; Rain this month : 50.2mm; Rain this year : 110.4mm.
