Back to school weather.

We have seen over 6mm of rain fall during the early hours of this morning and that now makes the monthly rainfall total 38mm.  This, so far, is above average for the month as the expected total rainfall in April is only around 50mm (average around 1.6mm per day).

The rain will, however clear first thing this morning and we will be left with a maximum 40% risk of showers the remainder of the day.  The highest risk of rain will be during the evening (starting around 18:00 hours).  it will, however, be a generally cloudy day.

It will be a milder day with a top temperature of 13-14c although this will be tempered by a cool breeze.  The wind chill will make the air temperature feel fore like 10c.

The wind will be deriving from the NE-ENE and the average wind speed will be around 8mph.

Summary: Rain clearing during morning drive time to leave a generally cloudy but dry daylight hours.  Rain possible after dark.
