Plenty of rain yesterday.

There was plenty of rain falling in our area last night and overnight.  In total we have received over 14mm of rain in the last 24 hours.  The radar images show that we could just catch the edge of a rain cloud system that is working its way up the east coast.  This system would reach us between 08:30 to 09:30 hours although the risk is only around 55%.

Overall it will be a mostly dry day with a general cloud covering.  A further small risk of rain appears around 20:00 -21:00 hours although this only brings a risk of around 45%.

It will also be a mild day with a top temperature of around 13c and and a overnight low of around 5-6c.

Today’s wind will be deriving from the SW-WSW and the average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Summary:  A small risk of rain during the journey to work this morning.  Otherwise a mostly dry but cloudy day.
