It will not take too long to notice that today starts off far cloudier than the more recent days and it is with a general medium to high cloud cover that we will spend the day.
The cloud cover does bring a 35% risk of some light localised rain early this morning but overall it will be another dry day.
Our top temperature will be around 10c but overnight this air temperature will reduce to as low as 2c due to the cloud cover thinning. Once again gardeners will need to protect any outdoor young and tender plants.
Once again the wind will be bringing in some cool air from a NE-ENE arc. The average wind speed today will be around 6-8mph. The wind chill effect from this breeze will reduce the “feel” of the air temperature by around 1.5c.
Looking forward to the weekend I am happy to report that it will be a generally dry but cloudy couple of days. There are some showers risks during Saturday afternoon but this would soon pass through out area.
