Today sees the air pressure gradually increase and it will eventually settle at around 1024mb.  This, along with the radar images, strongly suggests that today is going to be another dry day with plenty of sunny spells.

Do not, however, think that we will see temperatures similar to last weekend as that will not be the case due to a cool breeze coming into our area from the N-NW.  This breeze will have an average speed of around 4-5mph.   Our top temperature today will be around 13-14c and overnight the low will be around 5c.  This is an ideal temperature to get out and do some gardening.

Later this afternoon the cloud may increase a little from the east but this will only increase our risk of rain to about 4%.  It is ideal weather too if you want to get out the barbecue.

If you ever want to find some warmth then Porthmadoc was, once again, the warmest place in the UK yesterday with a top temperature of 22c.  This little town on the Welsh coast benefits from a micro climate created by being on the Llyn Peninsula.
