After yesterday’s bright start…..

As if to be in total contrast to yesterday morning today starts off, as last night ended, with heavy cloud cover.  This low and medium height cloud cover will remain with us for the large proportion of the day although it is unlikely that there will be any rain during the working day.

There is a 40% risk of rain during the late afternoon and early evening but, hopefully, this risk will simply blow through on the wind.

It will be a cooler day than of late with  top temperature of around 12c and an overnight low of around 8c.

The wind will be bringing with it cool air from a NW-NE arc and the average wind speed will be around 5-6mph.

The outlook for the Bank Holiday weekend currently shows that the air pressure will be high and, therefore, we can expect some dry weather.

Summary:  A cloudy but generally dry day.  A little cooler than of late.
