Need your umberella?

Today sees a continuation of the cloudy theme and by 18:00 the air pressure will reduce to 1000mb.  It will probably be of no surprise to you then that there is a 65% risk of further rain today.

The radar images are showing a band of rain carrying cloud heading our way and it will reach our area by mid to late morning.  The risk of rain showers will then maintain at around the 65% mark throughout the afternoon.  The Met Office have once again issued a weather warning for heavy localised showers but, like every other day, neither I or any other forecaster are able, at this stage, to forecast if we will be on the receiving end.

Our top temperature today will be around 17c and overnight the low will be around 12c.

The wind today will be mostly light and deriving from a WSW-NW arc.  The average wind speed today will be around 4mph.

Summary:  Mostly cloudy with an increased risk of showers from late morning.
