A cloudy start to this June day

It is a cloudy and humid start to the day and that really sets the theme for the remainder of the day.

Whilst there will be the odd brighter spell breaking through it will be a predominantly cloudy day.  The cloud will be at low and high heights.

During the the late afternoon the radar images do show a 65% risk of rain in our area although this risk will completely clear by mid evening.

It will also be a warm day with a top temperature of around 20c and the overnight low will be around 13-14c. Last night’s overnight low was 12.9c at 03:09 hours.

The wind will be deriving from a S-WSW arc for the majority of the day.  The wind will be light at around 4-5mph.

For those of you suffering with hay fever the pollen count for today is forecast to be high.

Summary:  A generally cloudy day, mild and humid.  A 65% risk of rain late afternoon.
