It is a cool start to the day with the air temperature “dipping” to 9.7c at 05:06 hours this morning. We can only expect a top temperature of around 14-15c today and overnight the minimum will once again be around the 10c mark.
The rain radar images are clearly showing a large bulk of rain cloud heading our way. The leading edge will reach us around 09:00 hours and this will bring an 80% risk of some drizzle/light rain in the earlier portion of the morning. The rain will, however, become more persistent as the morning passes and we can expect some heavier spells during the late morning and into the afternoon. The risk of rain today is greater than 90%.
