Hammerwich weather news for the 12 July 2016

The radar images are showing a scattering of rain clouds moving through our area during the rush hour this morning and these clouds bring a 65% risk of rain to our area.  Any rain would be light and generally short lived.  The risk reduces to about 35% after midday.  The biggest risk of rain/drizzle during the afternoon will be at the warmest point which is around 16:00 hours.

Today will start off predominantly cloudy with a general thick bed of cloud.  The cloud cover will eventually thin a little as the day passes.

Our top temperature will be low for the time of year at around 16c.  Overnight the minimum temperature will be around 10c.  Last night’s minimum temperature was 11.6c at 02:27 hours.

The wind today will be light despite the surface air pressure slowly increasing as the day passes. The wind will start the day deriving from the WSW but will move steadily clockwise to end the day deriving from the WNW.  Today’s average wind speed will be around 5mph.

Summary: A risk of some light rain during the morning.  A day with little temperature change.
