Black Country Day Weather – 14 July 2016

It is a bright start to the day with a clear sky allowing plenty of sunshine through to warm the soil.  As we reach mid morning and through to mid to later afternoon the cloud cover will increase a little but it will remain a pleasant day.  If you have the opportunity you may wish to pop to some of the events being held to celebrate Black Country day.

Despite the increased cloud cover the risk of any rain today is only around 6-10%.  By the end of the day the surface air pressure will around 1026mb.

Our top temperature today will be trying to push out of the teens at around 10-20c.  Overnight the cloud cover will reduce a little and the minimum temperature will be around 12c.

The wind will be generally light first thing but will increase a little to around 6mph by midday.  The wind will be deriving generally from the WNW-NW.

Summary: Some bright spells with a slight increase in cloud cover as the morning passes.
